The
Leguan (German for Iguana)
was created as a conceivable solution for the following problem: detect
and negotiate an obstacle (of a pre-defined maximum height) without
touching it.
The strategy is rather unsophisticated: find the obstacle with
the ultrasound sensor and cross it over a ramp brought along.
An improvement of the Leguan would be to carry the ramp around (and
drop it at a decent location) instead of pushing it.
